BOLD | RAW

Bold can be a relative term and for the Mid-Western family that owns this ski-in ski-out resort home it was a bold move to use a Silestone quartz countertop with an iridescent backsplash by Oceanside Glass in the kitchen. The gold highlighted movement in the island creates a focal point that both catches the eye and draws you to notice other surrounding details, such as the brown saddle leather barstools or the burnished bone ivory console lamps in the great room.

To give a more contemporary feel to the home’s raw and rustic color scheme, we added elegant and unique details to the individual rooms. The powder room, for example, shows off a pedestal stone sink and cone crystal pendant lighting for a little more glam. Whereby the family room highlights a snakeskin wallcovering with traditional clear alder shaker cabinet doors and a leather sofa to make it feel warm and inviting.

Through and through this home was purchased to “bring family together” and we are grateful to have helped do so in a bold and raw way.
