GROOVY | GRANDIOSE

Small space, BIG style. We titled this condo Groovy | Grandiose with the idea that you don’t have to take up a lot of space to show off a fun filled, character building style. The bright 1970’s throwback accessories and the base neutral color palette utilized in every room give each space a quirky touch representative of the homeowner’s personality. 

When we started the project the kitchen was entirely closed in. We kept the footprint, knocked out the wall, and made it open with the idea of entertaining guests. The porcelain cow print tile was imported from Italy and the cabinetry was painted a variety of blue tones to give it a classy edge. Our goal was to give it style while also assuring it will be resalable in the future for a return on investment.

In the master bedroom we kept the far wall a mirror to make the room feel bigger and we added aerodynamic furniture to emphasize the modern look. All in all we love looking back at this 2014 project given the design is still relevant today!
